This sculpture is a cast of the artist’s body, taken on May 15th, 2022—just one week after the Supreme Court's draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked. Applied to the body there is a collection of articles and headlines that trace the timeline of events, documenting the escalating discourse and public reaction from the initial leak to the official ruling on June 23rd, 2022. This work captures a moment of profound personal and collective significance, embodying the tension and uncertainty of a pivotal period in history.
